This project consisted of approximately 1,200 s.f. of additional space as well as remodeling of an existing dental clinic in northwest San Antonio.  The challenges facing the design team as well as the Contractor and the building Owner for this project included utilization of the existing site and parking as well as phasing the construction work so that the existing clinic could remain operational through- out the construction.

The existing building materials were matched in the new addition, utilizing painted stucco walls and a painted wood mansard type roof.  The front side of the building however, was modified to give the building a more interesting and inviting feel.  A stepped parapet, metal canopies over the windows and doors, and ceramic tile accents were used to dress up the new facade.  Interior finishes, carpeting, tile, and paint colors were all changed to give the clinic a fresh new look as well.
