The O’Krent Flooring project is a 34,000 s.f. three story concrete tilt wall building that contains warehouse, showroom and corporate offices for the longtime San Antonio flooring company. Some of the unique challenges of this project involved adapting to a severely sloping site and integrating the three functions of the building while providing employees, vendors, installers and customers with functionality, ease of access, a quality work environment and an unparalleled retail experience.

Some of the features of the building include extensive product display, open atrium-like feel, monumental curving entry stairs, warehouse overlook, special builder and interior designer sample rooms, employee gymnasium and a media and presentation friendly conference room. The focal point of this project is the glass rotunda entry which brings to mind the previous O’Krent’s building just north of downtown San Antonio.
