The Legacy/Moeller offices
Our featured project for the month is the Legacy/Moeller offices!
The Legacy/Moeller office building that was designed and built in 2015 houses 3 commercial office spaces, 2 of which are Moeller and Associates, Civil Engineers and Legacy Commercial Real Estate. In total the overall building footprint is about 7,500 square feet. It is located in New Braunfels, TX on Highway 46, next to the Outfit, our project of the month for December. It is a single-story development that is comprised of work spaces, offices, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms and other spaces that make up typical business offices. Each space is elongated toward the street to provide depth, movement and make the entrances pronounced. To provide differentiation between the three spaces different height stone wainscot was used in conjunction with the board and batten finish. A classic gable roof was used for each space, this creates a sense of familiarity and warmth to what could be a cold rigid building.

Focus on Current Projects
Some projects that we are currently working on in the construction document phase include Opportunity Plaza, a 3-story office building in San Marcos; New Braunfels Vet, an addition to an existing veterinary clinic; Yamaha Premiere Boating, a warehouse shop here in San Antonio; and skin Unlimited, a one-story dermatology office in New Braunfels.
Other projects we are working on include other veterinary clinics, restaurants, medical, and different commercial buildings.
Projects currently under construction include a new veterinary clinic in Cedar Park named Whitestone Animal Hospital, Animal Defense League in San Antonio, several commercial shell buildings and new locations for Bill Miller.
Finally, we are working on a number of finish out projects in San Antonio as well as Outtakes cafes in a number of locations in Texas, and Nationwide. We are pursuing other projects that include tenant finish out projects, veterinary facilities, medical and dental offices, restaurants, commercial offices and office warehouse facilities. Focus on Employees
Brady Zygulski is an architecture graduate of UTSA and has jumped into assisting with all projects and BIM management while simultaneously working on his Masters. Brady is also tracking his AXP hours for future licensing as well as preparing for the Revit professional exam.
Hilda Tovar is an architecture graduate of UTSA and has been continuously assisting on many projects in the office. Hilda is tracking her AXP hours for future licensing and preparing for the LEED exam.
Miriam Ade is our office administrator and bookkeeper. She handles all our administrative and bookkeeping work here at the office. She has also developed an expertise working on permitting services for the firm and it’s clients as well as for other builders, owners and developers.
Raul Ramirez Jr. is an architecture graduate of Texas A&M University and has stepped right in to assist with projects. Raul is assisting with all projects, managing our BIM software, and is our in-house photographer. He is currently tracking his AXP hours for future licensing, as well as preparing for Revit professional and LEED licensing exams.
Ruby Petri is an architecture graduate of UTSA and has been working in architecture and interior design for about ten years. She is a project manager in the office and is leading projects with others in the office.
Jonathan Scott is our senior project manager for Stephen J. Kramer Architecture + Design, Inc. Jonathan has worked with many firms and has multiple years of experience in managing projects of all kind. He has jumped right in with no hesitation in managing projects in the office.
Stephen J. Kramer is the owner and founder of Stephen J. Kramer Architecture + Design, Inc. Steve graduated from MacArthur High School in San Antonio and from Texas Tech University in Lubbock with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree. After working for 5 years at other architectural firms Steve formed Stephen J. Kramer Architecture + Design, Inc. in April of 1988. From it’s beginnings at the kitchen table of the Kramer home and one client, the firm has grown over the 25 years it has been in business to 6 employees located in our San Antonio based office. We currently specialize in commercial, retail, medical, dental, veterinary and restaurant projects but also do a wide variety of work including a small amount of custom residential projects. We currently work on over 100 projects annually and have completed thousands of projects in the many years we have been in business.
